Welcome to our website

Welcome to the home of the Northwest Arkansas Ghost Seekers! We are a group of paranormal investigators based in Springdale, Arkansas.

We follow a scientific philosophy, using a variety of tools and instruments to gather potential evidence. We enter an investigation with an open mind, but we make every effort to explain occurrances logically, or debunk. We do this for a simple reason — if we are able to debunk activity and are left with events that cannot be explained, then we feel we may have evidence of true "paranormal" activity — that is, activity outside the normal realm of events. Our hope is to gather evidence that will help us better understand how and why these events occur.

We are lining up investigations in Northwest Arkansas and in surrounding areas, and we will post the results on this web site. If you have any suggestions*, please contact us at nwags@nwaghostseekers.com. If you are in need of assistance or would like to suggest a place to investigate, please e-mail us at investigations@nwaghostseekers.com. We take all investigations seriously and will approach each one with the utmost professionalism. We will also maintain anonymity if requested. Our goal is to find answers, not fame.

*Please, serious inquiries only. We understand there are skeptics out there — in fact, there are those of us who approach investigations with a skeptical eye. While we believe everyone is entitled to their opinion, we do not believe that opinion should be used to belittle others who have a different way of thinking.

Northwest Arkansas Ghost Seekers recently completed an investigation at the KFSM Channel 5 News studio in Fort Smith, Arkansas. Part of the studio complex resides in what was once the Carnegie Library, built on the grounds of the former home of "Hanging" Judge Isaac C. Parker. Judge Parker died on the grounds, and two years later his home was destroyed by a tornado. Employees at the studio have reported whistles and voices, apparitions, footsteps and lights being turned off or even blown. There was also a report of a poster promoting a television show falling and shattering the day the show was cancelled.

The investigation took place in October and, at the request of the client, was filmed as part of a story for the newscast. The investigation was not made public at the time in order to preserve the exclusivity of the story. The story has since run on 5 News in the Morning, so the information and results can be released.

Those interested in the 5 News story can view the story at the link below. It also includes a link to a web-only special follow-up on the evidence obtained.
