SYNOPSIS
Irishman Tony Egan (Donal McCann) receives a letter from his sister in New York, telling him she's near death. She asks him to take care of her son after she's gone. Egan agrees, and brags of his nephew's impending arrival to everyone, including his worst enemy, pub-owner Joe Brady (Pierce Brosnan).
The uncle and the rest of the village are shocked to discover that his nephew, Chad (Hill Harper), is half-black. His appearance shakes up the small town where tradition rules and secrets abound.
Chad finds Ireland tough to deal with, but finds solace in a beautiful young woman (Aislin McGuckin), who just happens to be Joe Brady's daughter. Their involvement brings out a dark secret shared between Brady and Egan for decades. Meanwhile, Chad must decide if he could ever feel at home in Ireland, or if the secrets from his mother's past will drive too big a wedge between him and his uncle.
