Dad has bronchitis and a stomach virus. He's feeling better. We got him started on antibiotics, so hopefully, he will get well soon. Mother still sounds a little stuffy, but she doesn't seem to feel too bad.

When I got there this afternoon Mother was asleep and she woke a little after three. We split an apple and she ate all of her half. We also split a banana, but she only ate a couple of bites and then she didn't want anymore. She reluctantly let me trim her fingernails. She then rested until it was time for me to leave. I told her that I would be back after supper.

When I got back Mother had finished eating. She was glad to see me and I took her to her room. She was ready to get into bed, so I cleaned her face and hands and then helped her into bed. After she was in bed she fell asleep quickly. She was asleep when I left.
