Dad came down with a cold and Mother sounds like she's also getting a cold. She a little hoarse, so we'll just have to see how she is tomorrow and also how Dad is.

When I got there this evening Mother was still eating. When she had finished eating she was glad to see me. I took her to her room and I asked her if her throat hurt, but she wasn't sure, so I think that means it must not hurt much. She was ready to get into bed and she didn't want to change into her gown, so I cleaned her face and hands and helped her into bed. She fell asleep quickly and she was asleep when I left.
