Mother was much the same today.

When I got there this evening Mother had finished eating. She was glad to see me and as I wheeled her to her room I asked her if she was ready for bed. She said, "Yes and we know where it is." I said, "Yes we do and we're on our way there" and she said, "Yes we are." Once we got to her room I cleaned her face and hands. She didn't want to change into her gown, so I helped her into bed and she fell asleep quickly. She was asleep when I left.
