Mother was a little restless today.

When we got there this morning Mother didn't want to open her eyes at first, but she finally opened them and realized that we were there. She was glad to see us. She ate a good breakfast and then wanted to nap. I left to go to my last class, but before I left I promised Mother that we would take her home after lunch.

When we got back Mother was still eating and Dad went over to feed her. She ate a good lunch and then she was ready to go home. When we got home we all took a nap and Mother woke about 2:30. We had a banana and cookie. Mother was restless the rest of the afternoon. When I got back with supper we helped Mother out of bed. She didn't eat as well as usual, but fortunately her other two meals were good. When she had finished eating we took her back. She wanted to get straight into bed, but she didn't want to change into her gown and she didn't want me to take off her skirt. She said, "I like it just the way it is." I helped her into bed and she settled down quickly. I don't think she was asleep when we left, but hopefully she will drop off quickly.
