Viewing east from the Griffith Park  observatory towards the snowy topped San Gabriel Mountains	The southern view from Griffth Park is dominatet  by the skyline of Downtown LA
Hollywood district and Beverly Hills, farther in the west  you can get a glimpse of Santa Monica and the  Pacific Ocean	The last you see from the Grifftith observatory before you turn your head out of its joints is the Hollywoods sign in northwest.
