Miracle at Play

music and lyrics by Joanna Schwarz

 lyrics

I walk in the garden and think of you
light and shadows play.
So much of life is a mystery
hidden from our view.
Yet, even when the snow falls
the earth only sleeps.
The garden holds a promise
of a new life in the Spring.

There's a miracle at play,
there's a miracle at play;
somewhere deep inside a rhythm flows.
There's a miracle at play,
there's a miracle at play;
All around, creation dances
right before our eyes.

At the end of the day the colours glow;
sunlight turns to gold.
A moment of eternity;
memories to hold.
And though the shadows lengthen
and welcome the night,
the sunrise follows darkness
with a promise of new light.

There's a miracle at play,
there's a miracle at play;
somewhere deep inside a rhythm flows.
There's a miracle at play,
there's a miracle at play;
All around, creation dances
right before our eyes.
