Backwards City Review
is resolved to fighting the good fight, to delivering work by
artists who shrug off convention, and sometimes defy common
sense, in order to make something they believe in.
There are lots of journals and artists who work against the
mainstream. Backwards City is a place where those artists
can take a break, align themselves on opposite banks, throw
rocks at each other, and talk it out. We feature different viewpoints,
different styles, different forms, different takes on important
human themes. We showcase the different.
