For years, I have intended to take an Oak survey of our neighborhood. And now that Sudden Oak Death is a prevalent pathogen, it has become more urgent.
My neighborhood has some of the biggest, oldest, and coolest looking Coast Live Oaks I've ever seen anywhere. This specimen near the bottom of the hill is one of the best.
