This trade organization consists of Chemical Reference Material Manufacturers and invites all other commercial and government chemical manufacturers as well as metrology labs. CRMMA members are very active in sorting out and dealing with reference material issues as they arise between government agencies, commercial testing requirements, and various state and federal programs that require the use of reference materials. Article I of the by-laws....... The Chemical Reference Material Manufacturers Association is organized as a non-profit corporation for the purpose of acting as a trade association for manufacturers of chemical reference materials. It is formed and maintained in order to promote a free and open market, to promote better communication with the government on issues affecting the industry, to promote the production and marketing of high quality materials, to promote continuous improvement of industry products and standards and to facilitate information exchange among industry, government and end users. CRMMA Outreach Statement: Who said the whole is greater than the sum of its parts? This statement holds true for CRMMA. As individual organizations, CRMMA members are all successful manufacturers of Chemical Reference Material. As individual organizations, time constraints, budgetary restrictions and proprietary information might often prohibit member companies from performing outreach and educational services to scientific professionals. CRMMA, as an organization, pools resources to work with the scientific community for the betterment of science. Member Manufacturers of CRMMA promote the advancement of analytical chemistry to current and future scientists and their laboratories by sharing their knowledge base, their experience and their chemical product lines. CRMMA enables a forum in which its member manufacturers, committed to the advancement of science, accomplish together what may not have been accomplished individually.
