Years ago, Erica gifted Howie to me after a trip to see manatees in Florida. He's a great, big prankster known to tipping canoes (with researchers and equipment) and visiting with the girls. I guess Erica thought it was fitting. One of these years, we’ll take another trip to Florida specifically to visit the big critter.
