Creation

This page was originally created on a Power Macintosh 7500, although I later upgraded to a PowerBook G4, and am currently using a 17-inch 1 GHz PowerBook G4. The major software used includes Safari, for a graphical look at the page before posting it, Netscape Communicator's Composer module for a very small amount of writing and editing some pages (and learning what ugly HTML code looks like), and BBEdit, for writing raw HTML. Other software used to a much lesser degree includes Photoshop and various other graphics programs to size and edit pictures.

The PowerBook has a 60 GB HD, 1 GB RAM, 1 GHz processor, plus Harman/Kardon SoundSticks and an built-in 2x DVD-R drive. I also have a 12" PowerBook G4 (1 GHz/768 MB/80 GB/SuperDrive)

Hosting

Currently hosted by Apple's .Mac services, this page was originally hosted on Mac Line, a FirstClass-based Bulletin Board System (BBS) in Madison, Wisconsin, USA. Mac Line is primarily used by Macintosh users, however the BBS is open to anybody running any platform. The BBS is available by direct dialup connection, by TCP/IP, and several other methods of connecting. Visit the Mac Line home page for more information on becoming a member of the BBS. It's a great BBS, and the administrator is really friendly too. :-)
