The kid on the bus

I just witnessed the most horrifying scene. I got on the mini-bus to work this morning. Minutes later an Arab kid came on and sat right in front of me. I saw him started rubbing his right eye with his index finger, then rubbed it against his thumb to get rid of the buildup. I didn't think much of it at first, until I saw him used the same finger and started digging his nose.
There I sat in awe as I saw him pulled his finger out from deep within his nose and rubbed it off the back of the seat in front of him, a sticky, white goo stucked on the black vinyl. He then turn his head to the left and saw a pregnant lady staring at him in disgust. Knowing he was caught in the act, he tried to clean up the evidence by smearing the white goo arond the seat, leaving behind an even bigger, if lighter, streak of mess.

It gets worse. He started rubbing his eyes again, with the same finger! When a passenger to the front-left got off the bus, the kid quickly took the seat. The pregnant lady couldn't see him anymore, but he was still clear within my view.

I guess the kid got bored sitting in front with nothing to do, so he took the plastic straw out of the empty soda can he was holding, and started picking his teeth like it was a giant toothpick. Actually, grinding was more like it, as his motions were so big, no one else on the bus could have missed it. When he took the straw out of his mouth, it was wrung beyond recognition. He took a look at the damaged, then shoved the straw right back in his mouth and dug some more.

By then it was my stop to get off. I didn't know whether I was relieved to get away from the kid, or wanting to stay on and see what else he had up his sleeve. Yet, I pity the other passengers who were left on the bus with him, or unsuspecting ones who got on and sat where he left his marks. By the way, the kid looked to be a college student in his early 20's.
