Coolpix SQ or Optio S?

I was looking around for a new digital camera for my trip before I found out I wasn't going anywhere. The likely choice would have been the Nikon Coolpix SQ. Then last week I saw the Pentax Optio S; that is one tiny camera. Its credit card size weighs a mere 3.5 oz as opposed to SQ's 6.3 oz. Yet, the Optio S still packs a 3x optical zoom, an accomplishment none of the other similar size cameras can claim, not even the super-slim Casio EX-S3. I will hold out on buying one until my next vacation comes around, which by then a new crop of tiny cameras with even bigger features will surely impress.

I watched the angry green giant today. He's big, strong, quick, smart and awesome--everything you seek in a monster.
