• FRIDAY NIGHT SHOW SCHEDULE
  Telescope viewing after the shows, weather permitting

  Cowboy Astronomer	What cowboys need to know about the stars Fridays 7 p.m. Feature family presentation, narrated by Baxter Black, created by Loch Ness Productions.
  Drama in Three Acts: The Red Planet in myth, history, and modern exploration	Fridays 8 p.m. Feature presentation for adults and older children, narrated by Patrick Stewart, created by Loch Ness Productions.

• Friday night shows are presented only when OBU is in session:
  • There will be no shows this summer.

• The following shows are offered by arrangement only:

  	Starstruck Tonight Our seasonal star show, regularly updated.
  	Stars of Our Neighborhood An introduction to the day and night-time sky for preschool and elementary aged children.
  	Follow the Drinking Gourd How Afro-American slaves used the Big Dipper to find their way to freedom, based on the book by the same title illustrated by Jeannette Winter. For elementary ages and, with Stars of Our Neighborhood, will be offered as Saturday seminars for families.
  	Larry, Cat in Space A cat's eye view of the Meeooowwn. Created for younger children, as part of a comprehensive unit study of the Moon.
  	More than Meets the Eye A backyard tour through the night sky showing what you can see through binoculars or a telescope. This show is a perfect prelude to an evening skywatch with our telescopes! (Telescopic viewing is available after all of our evening shows.)
