Hope, by Rachel Magruder |
In this dark land so fell and cold My weary eyes look to the sky And view what fills this heavy heart With hope of light beyond the sea.
Through mist and cloud, still shine the stars In endless circles whirling I lift my heart and join the dance Until the darkness fades away
For though I live in shadow And though I live in fear There is hope beyond the darkness And beauty beyond tears.
