Welcome to my website. To you parents, I would like to inform you of my intentions for your child in my class. Throughout the course of the year, we will be reading several stories from a variety of texts. We will journey into the world of literature and its various genres including: short stories, novels, poetry, plays, music, and film. As well, my classes will largely focus their writing capabilities into a form known as creative writing. It is this style of writing that is desired by the teachers and professors who grade the GHSGT, the SAT, the ACT, other college entrance exams, and the Board of Regents examination which all public universities in Georgia require in order to graduate. It is my full intention as an educator to ensure you that your child is not only prepared for the workplace and/or college, but for life as well. This is my job--it is what I do and who I am.
