Reed_Chris_Fall 2009

Hello, and welcome to my site. Thanks for visiting! Click on the play button, above, to watch my intro film, filled with clips from various film projects on which I have worked. I even make a little cameo appearance where I'm dancing with flags! The music I have used in this intro is by Nouvelle Vague, and it is a cover of the Depeche Mode song "I Just Can't Get Enough."

And so . . . about me: I am a Filmmaker (Director, Cinematographer//Videographer, Editor, Writer) and Educator.

I live, now, in Baltimore, MD, to which I moved, from New York City, in August, 2006.

I am an Assistant Professor at
Stevenson University (formerly known, until June, 2008, as Villa Julie College).

In the summers, I work for
SOCAPA (the School of Cinema and Performing Arts), a program for high school artists.

Here is how my site works:

When you click on the movie index page link, above and to the right, you'll get access to my films, by category. On the index page is a list of all of the films on the site, with a brief description of my role in the making of each of them.

Other pages on my site:

• CV and Other Downloads -
Includes my résumé, an article about me as a film teacher, from 2005 ("The New York Sun"), and the treatment for the feature film script I wrote with a partner, Sunny Turner, as well as the full script, itself (if you like the treatment!).

• Blog -
Here you will find scans of my business cards, plus find a link to my WordPress site where I keep an up-to-date running blog on my life and musings on my teaching life and cinema (and other assorted topics). You will also find some film lists I have made, as well as some articles I have enjoyed reading over the past few years.

• Biographical Photos -
A short pictorial history of my life.

• External Links -
Includes links to organizations for which I have made films, or for which I have taught, plus links to websites of some of my good friends and noted colleagues.

Thank you, again, for visiting my site.
