Tennis lesson was cancelled because my coach was very ill today. OK, I have things to do at home. I have to prepare for the gig in Kobe. I'm taking off tomorrow as soon as I get off work. Gotta do the laundry, re-string my axes, and then pack up. But most of all, I gotta watch the ball game on TV. I wish I were going to Kobe with my new car, but hey...
Another package delivery notice at my door. I called SAGAWA to have it delivered this evening. The package was from Sound House, AKG K240 Studio that I ordered on April 6! Boy, I waited for a long time, even longer than my new car. I compared all of my headphones using the same sound source. SONY MDR-CD900ST, AKG K270 Studio, and this new one, AKG K240 Studio. When I received SONY in April, I compared it to AKG 270 and I noticed a big difference, pretty much as I expected. But this time, I really didn't expect AKG K270 and K240 to sound as much different as they did today. I think I like K240 the best out of all three pairs. 240 sounds very clear and spread even throughout all frequency range.
明日終業後の神戸への出発にむけて洗濯、晩御飯は3日目のカレー。うまいうまい。テニスがなくっても今日はやること結構ある。阪神vs巨人戦観なあかんし。結構接戦、テレビ中継は途中、8回終了時点で9:30に同点のまま終了。後は、ここで経過を確認。サヨナラ勝ち！なんとか勝率5割で6月終了。

Despite I couldn't sleep well last night. I was feeling well today. I got a lot done at work today.
My cell phone rang on the way home from work. I pulled over to see who. It was the dealer guy. Boy, I haven't heard from him for a long time. My new car was just delivered to the dealer from the factory!!! So, he asked me to come check it out. Last time we talked, he said it would be delivered on this Friday. So, it was a surprise for him too. Wooow! Cooooooool!!! It'll still be a while until I can take her home because of the registration and interior accessaries yet to be installed.
会社からの帰り道、ディーラーからの電話。急遽予定より早くディーラーに入ったワシの車を見に行く。まだ、 付属品等が到着していないので、納車まではもうしばらくかかるらしいけどとりあえず初対面！マイナーチェンジ発表後、結構意識してるけどまだ、路上では見かけない。ドキドキ、うぉ〜っ、か、かっこえぇええ！！内装もしっぶ〜っ、取り合えず、鍵もらって運転席に座ってイグニッショーーン！！・・・ん？今頃のMT車はクラッチ踏まなエンジンかからへんねや。もっぺん、クラッチ踏んでイグニッショーーン！「チョワンワンワン、ブルルン！」自発光式メーターがいっせいにぺっか〜。クゥ〜〜ッ！（←もうね、アホです。すんません、すんません。）走行距離000001km（当たり前か）取り合えず、クラッチ踏んだままシフトノブを一通りのポジションに入れてみる。もう、大興奮。あー、長かったよー。もうすぐ身代金もって迎えに来るからな。（え？）ご対面後、アイスコーヒー出してもらってディーラーの兄ちゃんとしばらくよた話。
帰って、阪神vs巨人＠甲子園、ええぞ、ええぞ、いってまえーーー！！！

ふぅ、あんまりはしゃぎすぎたら明日悪い日になりそう。
Woke up early in the morning on the floor in my living room. Uh oh. Crawled up to bed and slept again until 7:40am. A massive hangover... Felt like sh*t pretty much all day. Felt a little better in the evening.
体調いまいち、帰宅して晩御飯。カレーをちょっと変わった手法で作ってみる。カレーソースと具を別に作る試み。市販のルーをつかったけど、具材を入れず、ぎょーさんのタマネギのみじん切りだけを延々炒めて水入れて、以前試しにかったフォンドボーの固形をいれて延々煮る。ルーを割り入れて、ソースは完成。具材の野菜別に油通し、赤ピーマン、エリンギ、人参、ジャガイモ、荒く切ったタマネギなど。鶏肉いためて、カレーソースをからめて、最後に油通しした野菜を合わせる。具がくたくたにならずにカラフルなカレーが完成。でも具がめちゃくちゃ多い。また、ちょっと食い過ぎ。でもやっぱご飯を食べると元気になってきた。
ドラマの最終回みて、ちょっとうるうる。ぼーっと過ごす。暑い。
10:30起きる。あ、晴れとる。ちゅうことでガーデンコンサート開催。入りの時間が12:00っちゅうことで。11時過ぎにバスにのって街に出る。今日はRDの出演。このイベントには過去3回、鉄観音で出演。まあ、ベース1本持っていくだけってのも結構楽なほうやけど、今日は手ぶらで出かけれるのは楽やな。
ちょっと時間があるので、街中をうろうろ。現地入りして、機材の搬入、そういえば以前はPA機器類はえらい離れた場所のJRの高架下の倉庫にあって、結構大変やったけど、最近はバスターミナル地下の倉庫に移っててだいぶ楽になった。
搬入、セッティングが終わってリハの順番待ちでしばらく時間が空く。出番が初っぱなで、逆リハなので、2時間近くある。なんか、あたりに警官がうろうろしてて何か物々しい。すぐ近くで自民党の街頭演説があり、応援に小泉総理がくるんやとか・・・案の定、リハの途中に自民党員が我々の浜松市主催のイベントに政治的弾圧を仕掛けてくる。（笑）
ようやく我々のリハが回ってくる。リハ後本番まではすぐ。まあ、つつがなく終わったんではなかろうか。このイベント、撤収も全員作業なので、終わってからも会場に居ないとあかん。とにかく待ち時間が長い。お店じゃないんであんまりゆっくり座れる場所もないので、結構疲れる。なによりこの時期暑いし。
イベント終了。純ちゃんの演説も無事終わった様子。結構ライブが爆音で演説が聞こえにくかったらしい。
杉ｐさん、もかさん、昇さんと、焼き肉食いに三方原あたりの焼き肉やに。結構混んでて、待たされるけど、席に着いてから、待たされた理由が店員の段取りの悪さであると判明。大都市では絶対成り立たへんな。まず二度と行くことはないやろう。昇さんからいろいろなご提案を頂く。おもろかった。参考にさせていただきます。
もかさんとタクで高丘まで戻って軽くもう一杯、っちゅうことでちょんまげやに。結局二人とも結構酔っぱらった。どっちも徒歩で帰れるような距離やったけど、何となくやばい感じやったんで、タク呼んで帰る。寝倒れる。
9:00頃起きる。結構寝たはず。取り合えず、うどん食う、布団干す、洗濯する。うーん、どうもだるい。なんか体調いまいち。こういうときは、「寝たらなおる」の法則に従う。3時間後に目覚ましセットしてまた寝る
変な夢みた。なぜか、休日に昔働いてた東京のオフィスビル内に浜松の友達としのびこむ。でも夢では実在する東京のオフィスとは違う。そのビルのなかにホールがあって、そこから独特なピアノ弾き語りが聞こえてくる。曲は聴いたことないけど矢野顕子が独りでリハをやってた。リハを終えて出てきた矢野さんとちょっとお話する。何話したかは記憶にない。目が覚めた。んー、なんやったんやろ？？？未来の出来事に関係あるんかな？
やっぱ寝たら体調良くなった。5:00出かける。shipopoが出演する坂下由季乃さんのお箏リサイタルを見に行く。そこそこの規模のホール。会場で職場の上司ご夫妻に遭遇。腰の低い上司、「ひょっとして、お箏のコンサートですか？」って何でわしがこんなところに居るのかえらい驚いていたご様子。
めちゃくちゃおもしろいコンサートやった。同じ弦楽器を弾く人間としては、凄い魅力的な楽器。もうお箏に始終目が釘付け。弦をはじく場所や指使いによって巧みに音色を操ってる。ギターに共通する部分もけっこうあったりなんかして、こんなにたっぷり生でお箏の演奏を見たのは産まれて初めて。お箏にもハーモニックス奏法があるんや、昔からかなぁ？
プログラムも工夫されてて飽きさせない内容やった。shipopoの演奏はいつ聴いてもやっぱり凄いなー。今日は、フルートって実はこんなパワフルな楽器やったんや、と言う発見。本当に毎回色んな側面をみせてくれる。もともと尺八のパートって事もあり、表現の試行錯誤もあったかもしれんけど、全然そういうことを感じさせなくってすごいはまってた思う。職業音楽家なら、たいていの曲を譜面通りに演奏できる位は当たり前なんやろけど、新しい試みでもあれだけ説得力のある力強い表現ができるのってやっぱ尊敬しますな。あと、これも普段聴く機会がすくないマリンバやヴィブラフォンの音色にもうっとり。電子楽器の音作りも絶対手を抜いたらアカンなーとつくづく感じた。なんやかんやいうても楽器の良さ＝音の良さやもんな。
SONYのC-38B、いわゆる「さんぱち」が音楽のコンサートで使われてるのを初めてみた。NHKとソニーが共同開発した純国産マイクだそうで、漫才のステージの床からびよーんと出てくるアレ。和風な音がする事で業界で知られてるそうで邦楽器の収音には最適という記事をここで読んだことがあったけど、ほんまやってんや。三味線のマイク収音は難しいという話をよく聞くけど、今日はその三味線にさんぱちが使われてた。普通のライブPAではまず見かけることないけど、こういうときのためにちゃんと用意してるのねStage Loopさん。
すごい堪能した。ただ、申し訳ないけど、個人的には唯一あの司会の必要性だけは疑問やった。今日のリサイタル、昨日まで一緒に仕事してたUSの仕事仲間に見せてあげれたら良かったのになーなんて考えた。
らーめんＱでピリカラネギチャーシューしばいて帰る。独りですごす充実した土曜日やったなー。明日はガーデンコンサート、わりと早いな。はよ寝よ。
Continued discussion from yesterday. We set the time limit first because we could go on and on with the subject. Plus, we had a reservation a Chinese restaurant for dinner party. Another productive meeting.
夜は職場の宴会。浜北の樓欄（ローラン）。場所が遠いけど、ここの料理は大好き。麻婆豆腐うまいねん。今日のコースにはなかったけど。でも今日の若手の幹事さん、あほな営業系のオッサンの言いなりになってちょっと気の毒やったなぁ。若手に幹事引き継いだのはちょっと失敗やったかも。何故かわしまでスピーチさせられた。苦手やねん。営業系の人ってなんでああいう事好きなんやろなぁ。ま、でも今日の料理は最高やったっちゅうことで。代行呼んで10:30頃帰宅。わりとすぐ寝る。
Had a long meeting with our colleague from US. I always enjoy having discussions with him. While he is an outstanding sales manager our US office, he is also an outstanding musician, a drummer who used to play with some big names in jazz. He and I share a similar educational background studying music in college and we both understand the musician's language. The meeting as usual was very productive and fun. We started around 3:00pm and still couldn't finish up at 8:00pm. So, we called it a day and decided to continue with the subject tomorrow.
RDリハ、今日は我々がめったに使わない細江のスタジオ。でも、偶然仕事が遅くなったので丁度良かった。日曜日のセットリストを一回通して終了。そそくさと麦家に移動。戸棚のガラス1枚注文（笑）このところアルコールを控えめにしているとめっきり酒弱くなった気がする。もともと肝臓が強くないんやな。俺。
Tennis. My coach put a new set of strings on one of my rackets for free in return for the series of translations I did. The club house owner also thanked me and told me that they had successfully completed their necessary business transactions. That's good to hear. Feels much better with new set of strings
We always play short games at the end of the lesson. Today, we had a lefty joined in our class. We hardly have a chance to play against lefties. I made a deadly mistake. I shot the biggest 1st service I could to where I thought would be her back side and I never expected the return. So, I just stood there almost raised my fist to celebrate. But, obviously, the ball landed on her fore side and was returned to the most unexpected spot. It's funny I'm partially left handed in some of the things I do. But, I play tennis right handed and I was completely defenseless against left handed players.
All right! George is back on the roster and Tigers is extending their winning streak.
Just can't find words to express my feeling for that most brutal incident in Middle East. How long does this have to go on.
Spent pretty much all day reading some research documents which made me so sleepy.
Came home early, off to grocery shopping, fixed supper, ate too much...Kick back for the rest of the evening. Yup, gotta chill out.
Unusual hectic Monday evening. Rushed into Kuroneko Yamato straight from work to send out those rehearsal cds to the band members in Kobe. I made it on time for the last cargo of the day. So the stuff will get there tomorrow. Also, converted the audio data into mp3 files and uploaded so they can check them out before they receive the cds. I came home and found a package delivery notice in my mailbox. Apparently, it was there for a few days and I didn't notice. So, I had to drive to the post office to pick it up. Then, I had to have a quick supper before I go to another band rehearsal starting at 8:00pm. I still had to learn a song before I go to the rehearsal. The rehearsal went OK. Came home, made a couple of phone calls to clarify a few things for WA preparation.
Finally sat down to watch TV around 11:00. Takuma Sato finally made it the podium at the US Grand prix. But, what a lousy circuit it is! So many drivers crashed or retired. That ain't no place for Formula 1 racing. Typical American. It looks like an airport, or is it?
Phew! Hopefully tomorrow evening will be somewhat more relaxing.
Woke up on the couch again around 10:00am. Just sat around, ate breakfast, and watched TV until noonish. Then, Christ drove me back to Suma. 神戸帰ったらいつも特にLiccaとChristには甘えっぱなしやなぁ。ありがとうな。また、ビール持って行くわ。
実家に戻って、おかんと1時間位うだうだ喋って、シャワー浴びて実家を後にする。結局この週末、実家には車を置きに帰っただけやった。なんちゅう親不孝者。しかも今日は父の日やったらしい。（親父に言われる。）笑ってごまかす。まあ、来月も2回神戸に帰るし、その次は多分また盆休みやろうし。
小腹が空いたんで、ゴールデンウィーク最終日同様、大倉山のもっこす総本店に立ち寄る。今日は中華そば。うーん、なんでか今日はスープの味に切れがなく、そのわりにギトっとした脂っこい後味で、正直かなりイケてなかった。やっぱ三宮の第一旭にしとくんやった。
生田川から阪神高速にのって一路浜松へ。FM CO.CO.LOを聞きながら、今日は名神大山崎から京滋バイパス経由で再び名神に合流するルートを走る。車が少なくて快適。関西を離れて久しいけど、最近、関西のラジオ番組を聞くと、昔よりどうどうとべたべたな関西弁を喋るDJが増えた気がする。なんかうれしい。6:00になったのでAMに切り替える。巨人vs.阪神。おととい、昨日とちがって今日はええ感じ。7回を終えた頃に家にたどり着く。取り合えず、荷物を車にほったらかしたまま、続きの試合をテレビでみる。プロ球団のない地方っちゅうのは、巨人の試合しかテレビでやらへんから、阪神の試合がみれるのも対巨人戦だけ。
野球がおわってから昨日のリハの録音の編集作業。MDからVS-1824CDに流し込んで、マスターリングエフェクトをかけて、別トラックに再録音、マーカーつけてCDに焼く作業をしながら、日記書く。あっという間の週末。次の神戸は7/3のライブの本番。
Woke up around 10:00am. Tomo was gone. Christ said he always leaves very early in the morning after he crashes at Christ's place. Christ drove me to Suma so I can pick up my axes for the rehearsal. Grabbed some munchies at a bakery on the way, dropped by his office to pick up some stuff. Saw my parents for about 5 minutes. Loaded my axes in his car and headed back to Kitano-cho. We still had about an hour to kill until the rehearsal in the studio. So, we dropped in at this French Cafe in Kitano.
Picked up Tomo at Sannomiya sta. Went into the studio at 2:00pm. First 30 min. was for just three of them excluding myself. So, I was an observer. They may have to work on some small details. But, I think their compositions are awesome. I will be coming in for the second half of the show. So, the next hour and half, we worked on the songs I'll be joining. Yeah, I gotta work on my chops too, and work out the outline of my improvisation a little bit. But overall, It's just plain fun. The final hour of the rehearsal, we ran through the entire set list.
After the rehearsal we had to meet some other guys involved in this WA-I event. So, first we dropped in at Garage Paradise to work out a few details with the guy who will be DJing. Then, off to another bar to leave the posters and flyers. Then, we moved to James, where we'll be gigging to work out some details on PA system and stuff with the owner there.
JJJ had an anouncemnet to make. Hey, of course we all celebrate it and wish you good luck! Most of all, thank you so much for all you've done for us to make these things possible. Oh yeah, I'm talking about the camping too.
Moved back to Sannomiya to meet more guys. Crashed at Christ's place again. I ended up not staying at my parents' in Suma at all for the weekend.
I was planning to leave for Kobe straight from work as soon as the bell ring. But, I couldn't finish off my work by then. I also noticed that I left my cell phone at home in the morning. So, I had to come back home. Ended up leaving Hamamatsu a little after 6:00pm.
代車で神戸まで移動。オーディオはラジオだけ。家を出るときにAMラジオで野球中継を探す。今日から巨人vs.阪神3連戦＠東京ドーム。なんと大阪の毎日放送が入ってきた。途中聞きづらい地域もあったけど。道中はこれでほぼ行けた。結局試合経過を聞き逃さないように運転してノンストップ。試合が終わったのが大阪府に入ったあたり。 結果は1:0阪神負け。首位に負けるのは痛いなぁ。
道中ChristやTomoから電話。（ちゃんとハンズフリーマイクで話してるから大丈夫。）いけちゃんの店「やまと」で野球見ながら飲んでるらしい。10:00pm頃に実家に到着。車だけ置いて、そそくさと神戸駅までタクで移動して合流。
Christ was telling us all kinds of interesting stories about his times in Cambodia. Tomo missed his last train home (again). We all ended up crashing at Christ's and Licca's new place in Kitano-cho. いつもいつもすんまへん。明日はみっちり4時間PRKリハ。
RD rehearsal at EMAC. Sang one of our repertoir with my lead part that we haven't done in a couple of years. Interesting thing was that my body recalls how I used to sing this song and I started singing the way I used to. But it doesn't feel right because it doesn't fit my current singing style. It felt very awkward. But then, I realized this is a proof that I am definitely improving with my vocal chops. I will practice to make some adjustment to fit this into my current singing style.

Such a nice cool dry breeze in the evening. Would have been a perfect evening for tennis lesson although it was cancelled for coach's personal reason. Came home early, took a shower, heated up last night's leftover. Finished dinner while it was still bright out there and took a walked to the nearest cigarette vender. Feels so good. Yes, my favorite season is here. It's summer time!!! I used to get almost 3 month vacation while I was still in school.

ウーロン茶を入れては飲み、入れては飲み、しながらずーっとテレビ見てたら、スーパーで今日汲んできた水のボトルが空っぽになってもた、ゲッ、3リットルも茶飲んだんかいな・・・たっぷんたっぷんや。
Fitの輸出モデルってJazzっていうんや。ふーん、北米には出てないらしいけど、アジア、欧州方面に出てるらしい。

Found a lot of junk mails and flyers in my mailbox when I came home from work. I have been getting some hints that one of my neighbors is somewhat hostile against me. For the last couple of weeks there has been 2 or 3 times I received so much junk flyers in my mailbox in one day. I notice I would get 2 of the same flyers. So, I have suspected someone has been dumping the flyers that he gets in his own mailbox into mine. Today I found an evidence among those flyers. I knew it! It was that Brazilian asshole who moved in recently. I found the gas bill addressed to the guys apartment number. I noticed a couple of times when he was peeking through his window and staring at me. Of course I can't think of any reason at all that the guy has to do this to me. WHAT THE FUCK IS HIS PROBLEM!!! I don't have to take this shit from that son of a bitch.
Tigers の公式サイト内のスコアボードって試合中随時アップデートされてて、2分ごとにブラウザがリロードするようにできてる。試合の映像はみられへんけど、試合経過はほぼリアルタイムにわかるんやね。一打席ずつの結果も随時でてくる。へぇ、結構使える。今日は打線がつながったな。
Rather a relaxed Monday. The weekend was very slow and quiet. I guess I have been well rested over the weekend. I was able to get a lot done at work today. Came home and cooked enough rice to last for a week like I usually do on Monday evening.
A phone call from Tomo to confirm if I can make it to the PRK rehearsal on Saturday. Christ emailed me a minute after Tomo called about the same thing. JJJ also rang my cell phone at night. Don't worry dudes, I've had that date marked on my calendar. I'll be heading to Kobe as soon as I get off work on Friday.
Another quiet day. Spoke with no one today. Laundry, grocery shopping, fixing my own supper, watching TV... That's about it. Dug out and watched "Spirited Away" DVD that I borrowed from my sister a while ago. I'm amazed every time I watch this movie how a person could come up with story like this. Every little detail of the movie is so impressive. Needless to say the sound track too. Not a bad way to spend my weekend.
Oops! I just remembered that I did talked to Nii on the phone when he asked me to come over for MOTU. I turned down his offer because I was already fixing supper. That was it.Spend it very quietly. Didn't feel so well. Not that I was ill or anything, but simply didn't have much appetite. Maybe this humidity is getting me. Stayed home all day watching TV without even eating anything. Finally I felt like I had to eat something around 9:00pm. So, I drove out to Bamiyan. When I ordered the food, I realized that it was the first time of the day I opened my mouth to speak to someone and ended up that it was the only time I spoke all day. I guess it compensates for too much of my shitty talks on Thursday night.
Started feeling much better after eating dinner. Drove R275 up north. I felt like watching fireflies at a spot I found 5 years ago, just beyond the border of Aichi pref. I came at the right time. So many fireflies out there. Just watching them glowing in fluorescent color floating around in the dark with no sound really calms me. Blinking of those lights synchronize from time to time creating a certain rhythm as if an orchestra is playing silent music. No artificial illumination can give me the same feeling.
Received email from Sound House. Totally forgot that one of the merchandises that I ordered in April still hasn't arrived yet, AKG K240 STUDIO. And now they are telling me the delivery will be postponed again until July. Not just the car but even a pair of headphones...
It's about time Tigers defeated Yokohama for the second time of the season. They came in to 3rd place over night from 6th.
OK, I talked way too much last night...How embarrassing.

An email from my alma mater, CA alumni relations office announcing that the school web site was completely renewed and gave me a login password to access the alumni database. It's about time they require login password for the database.
夜は鉄観音リハ。時間まで家で待機してると、ディーラーの兄ちゃんから電話。車庫証明関係の書類で捺印が必要な書類があるとのことで、うちにやってくる。ディーラーが家のすぐ近くっていうのは何かと便利かも。モデルチェンジ後のカタログがディーラーに届いたらしい。契約も終わった今更必要じゃないけど、当分車もこないし、せめてカタログだけでも眺めてしばらくにまにましたいので欲しいと言ったら、後で留守中にポストに入れてくれていた。
リハ後にソロで近場のニンニンなラーメン屋。やっぱり厨房の棚にインスタントの袋ラーメンを堂々とおいてる。どういうこっちゃ？前に行ったとき、店主が常連のお客に自分の店のメニューで唯一自分が食べるのがつけ麺だ、と言うてたのを聞いていたので（それ言うのもどうかとおもうけど・・・）つけ麺にする。ほうほう、つけ麺っちゅうもんをめったに食わんので、一般的にどういうもんかあんまりわからへんけど、わりとうまいんちゃう？
晩飯待ってる間に、テレビでニューフィットのCMがオンエアが流れた。ホンダのフィットサイトもリニューアルされてる。昨日正式発表やったんや。ちょっと独りで盛り上がる。でも納車はまだ1ヶ月先・・・しばらくはカタログとCMとWebで絵に描いた餅を堪能しますかね
RD rehearsal at EMAC. Checked and went over the set list for the June 27 gig. Everybody seemed and sounded a little tired today, maybe from those gigs on a weekend.
Usual mugiya routine. It was a Ladies' night??? OK, I talked too much and I know I'm gonna hate myself for it tomorrow.Today's keyword must have been "PHYSICAL" or "SWEAT". (No, not that kind...) I changed the layout of my work environment by moving around all of my work equipments during the day. It was raining when I got out of work and I figured there would be no tennis lesson tonight. But, I still had to go to the club house to give my coach back the original documents that I obtained for the translations. No other classmate showed up because of the weather but my coach still gave me a special private lesson. It turned out to be a very productive and physically tough lesson. It was so much fun though. Sweated like hell! Oh, just in case you are a creative thinker, It's not something you may be thinking of, but JUST a tennis lesson!
Christ emailed me the poster for the upcoming gig on July 3 in Kobe. Our band name is now shortend to make it simple to get more recognition.
今日は、職場の自分の作業場の模様替えとテニスの特別個人レッスンでめちゃめちゃ体動かして、アホほど汗かいたから体にご褒美の独り麦家。このところ、なぜか平日、お店が大盛況やね。もくもくと飲み食い。家にかえって、ホッピー＆焼酎をやりながら日記書き書き。
An ordinary Tuesday again. Finally finished the translations that my tennis coach asked me.
Tried the same recipe I screwed up yesterday, the chicken and vegetable stir-fry Szechuan style. Turned out to be much better!. No excess grease. Lot's of vegies, too. Just kicking back and watching TV for the rest of the night.

It's Monday again. And it's raining. The meteorological bureau has announced that the midland area of the nation has entered the rainy season over the weekend. So damp and sticky. yuck!
What the fuck are the lawmakers doing? Really makes me sick!!! If I were a father or a school teacher, I have no clue how to explain my kids what happened in Nagata-cho the other day. I wish I could just laugh at it. But, it's so humiliating to think that I'm one of the citizens responsible for sending those fools to the national legislation.
Tried to emulate the recipe of the main dish of the lunch I had on Friday. hmmm, it didn't turn out right. Ended up a little too greasy.
あ、はじまってもた、World Downtown。昔、この手のナンセンス系に全然反応できひんかったけど、最近は結構やられてるわ。＞ワシ。っていうか・・うわーーーっ、やめてぇーーーー！！！アノ虫の映像だけは、こらぁーー！！！アホーーーっ！！！触るなって・・・・ところで真ん中の人、なんとなくなにげな店長に似てへん？
7:00am、にーずみくんの電話で起床、あ〜ぁ、ごっつい降ってるやん。ちゅうことで岡林さんの留守電で中止を確認して、再度9:30頃まで寝る。
10:00頃にーずみくんといっしょにメリーユーへ。お腹がすいたので楽器をおいてはなまるうどんへ。メリーユーにもどってうだうだしてたら堀ちゃんがタッパーの入った袋をぶら下げてやってきた。ま、まさか？とおもったけどやっぱりチャーシューと味玉やった。っていうか、なにそれ？っていうほどうまい！食い物好きの人が作るもんってまずいもんないねー。
初めてみるユニットがたくさん。加藤姉妹にノックアウトされた。凄いバランスの良さ。いやされるわ。イヤなことわすれられるような感じ。アカン、顔がゆるんでまう。Another Soul、これもまたええ曲やってるやん。Spainってやっぱ肉踊るな。Storyは年に一度冬至ライブしかやってなかった一時期に比べてものすごいバンド色が強くなってる。このところライブ活動も積極的やし、特にレコーディングをやってるし、そもそもレコーディングってバンドの音作りそのものの作業やしね。
UDK、うん、まぁ、自分のギターに関しては細かいところで課題はいろいろあったけど、楽しかった。もっとやりたいと思えたからよかったんかな。伴奏大好き。一方のRD、奇しくも同じ会場で中一日後の演奏と言うことになり、一時はやるべきかどうかも検討したけど、もともと別メニューを用意していたので、やっぱりやってよかったかな。個人的には金曜日調子がよかったのでちょっと油断してたところもあるかなぁ。声もちょっと出にくかった。ちょっと反省。初心を忘れず謙虚な姿勢でのぞまんとな。
ひなごパラダイス、大好きな曲ばっかり。ひなごの歌詞の発音はいつもしっかりしてて綺麗。すごく気をつかってるんやね。すんなり入ってくるわ。
お店を提供してくれてたたくじにも感謝。あ、RDの演奏がおわってやっとビールが飲めると思ってたのんだら、例の鉄鍋になみなみとついでくれよった。（笑）終わってビルの外に出ると、拍子抜けするくらいまだ明るい。魚民に移動。呑呑呑、食食食、喋喋喋・・・10時過ぎに魚民を後に、小腹がすいたのでにーずみくんと八重丸して帰る。
A call from Christ right after I got home. It was about the gig in July in Kobe. The night has been named "WA-1" (no idea what it means...) They are now preparing the posters and flyers, and he's gonna send me a copy. Thanx! I'll look forward to that.
Wake up around 9:00 with no hangover. Such a nice weather! Laundry time. Sat around and watch TV in the afternoon. Worked a little bit on the translation my tennis coach asked me to. Too difficult.
午後3時過ぎにおそい昼御飯。自家製の清湯と、卵入り乾麺を使った超シンプルな汁ソバ。
うてぃのレッスンの終わり時間に併せてすみスタでピックアップ。UDKの最後のリハ。にーずみくんも7:00回ってから到着。ええかんじちゃうん？あとはテンポの合わせこみかな。どうもギターがつっこみ気味。でもコンビネーションはできあがってきた。久々のギターでの本番。たのしみ。こんなに天気がええのに雨の予報。晴れへんのかなぁ。
2時間ちょいのリハの後、みんなしびれを切らしてきた。そそくさと片づけはじめたちょうどその頃、りっちゃんからうてぃに着いたよメールが来た。昨日から、それこそしびれをきらしているであろうご夫婦と今晩は麦家と決めていた。はまちゃん、りっちゃんとなおぽんもそろってた。いろいろアホウな話で盛り上がる。うてぃのご近所さん、一生懸命生きてるんやね。
いつも通り7:30頃目が覚めた。っていうか腹減った。昨日急遽半休取ったから今日の全休キャンセルして午前中だけ会社行こうかとも思ったけどやっぱやめ。朝飯はしっかり食べてまた寝る。
久しぶりに華市でランチ、宴会予約があるのか、めずらしく厨房の入り口に下ごしらえしたテカテカの鴨が2羽釣ってあった。うまそー。今日のランチは今までの中で最高においしかった！主菜は鶏と野菜の宮保料理。野菜は見るからに地元の旬の新タマネギやジャガイモをたくさん使ってる。料理全体に花椒（中国の山椒）のいい香り。料理する油に香りをうつしてるんやね。唐辛子は四川の海椒らしいものを使ってた。日本の鷹の爪とはちがってずんぐりしてて見た目がかわいい。お皿もおしゃれ。このお店は四川ながらにしてとても優しい上品な味付けの料理が多い。炒め物でも全然油っぽくないし。シェフはいかにも大人しくて優しそうな人。作品やパフォーマンスに人柄がでるのって音楽も料理も一緒やね。レジで料理に使われてた唐辛子が売ってたのですかさず購入。へぇ、朝天辣椒っていうんや。
車を置いてバスで街に向かう。今日は突然バンドナイトでRDの出演。3:30頃メリーユー入り。まだ、岡林さんととだましか居なかった。RDととだまの共演を提案されてたけど、結局当日まで話は進まず、無理かなぁって思ってたけど、こちらから提案していた曲の楽譜を一人でもくもくとさらってくれていた。RDのメンバーがそろってから、試しに合わせてみたらすごいいい感じやったからやっぱりプログラムに組み込んだ。さすが、アカペラサークル出身だけあってすごく良くブレンドする。声がきれいね。サラリーマン風のイッシー登場、それにしてもこの男、会場入りしてからセッティング、音出しの仕上がりの早いこと。接続してアンプに電源を入れたらもう石川サウンドができあがっている。さすがやなぁ。結局楽器の音って機材のセッティングとかじゃなくってプレーヤーがつくるんやな。
ライブはゆらぎやでスタート、その名の通りいい感じのゆらぎ。ドラムのグルーブがいいなー。また、曲がいいねぇ。アンサンブルのバランスが何せ絶品。みんないい音出してる。また一つ大好きなバンドが増えた。このバンドといい、福岡といいここ最近の新生バンドは凄いいい感じ。2つのバンドはある意味タイプが対極やけど、好きな音楽を好きなようにやるっていうところが共通してるね。みんな本当にやりたいことにどんどん近づいて行ってるのかな。
RD. いままでのステージで一番良く歌えた気がする。みんな慣れてきたね。いや、ほんまお客さんに支えられてるなー。自身の声が以前より確実に出やすくなった。より少ない力加減でいい音が出せるようになった気がする。せんせのおかげやね。もう、通い終えて1年になるけど、ここに来て確実に効果が出てる気がするよ。あと、今日はゆっくり寝たからかな。
とだま、歌声は相変わらずすばらしい。メロディーも大好き。この界隈の人にはもう彼女の曲もすっかりなじみになってるよね。ギターがうまくなったね。
ミサト＆シン。もうおなじみ。久しぶりに「君はねこ」を聴いた。実は彼らの曲で一番好きな曲。以前ポルカでこの曲を聴きながらボロ泣きしてる人がいた。この曲意外ではノリノリに踊ってた人。うん、ちょっと泣ける。やぁ、今更ながらシンさんの声量ってすごいね。つねにオフマイクで丁度いい具合に声がのってるし。昨日の日記で書いたばかりの「六間道路」で同じこと言うてるやん。びっくり、ワシだけやなかったんね。
呑呑呑呑呑、食食食食食、喋喋喋喋喋・・・もかさんを起こしてタクって帰る。遊びに来てくれたみなさん、ありがとうございました。
まだ、金曜日！
寝不足でつらい。そんなに急ぎの案件もなかったので午後半休にする。実は明日フルに有給とってるからちょっと気が退けたけど、上司にあっさり「どうぞ」といわれたのでさっさと帰る。
家に帰って寝よかと思ったけど、明日やる予定やった書類集めの為の、住宅管理会社やら、市役所廻りを今日やってしまうことに。車買うのに廃車手続き、新車登録、車庫証明やらでなんやかんや書類が必要。住宅管理会社に場所を問い合わせると意外に遠い。丸塚バイパスと六間道路の交差点あたり。この時点でお昼はらーめんＱと心に決める。ところで六間道路と聞いていつも密かに吹き出しそうになるのはワシだけか？ 六間道路→Rock'n'Road→Rock'n'Roll・・・ごめんなさい、ごめんなさい！！！
管理会社で書類を発行してもらった後、ラーメンＱでぴりからネギスモークチャーシュー。やっぱうまいわラーメンＱ。心のこもったラーメン。その後、市役所で住民票やら印鑑登録やらもらう。ついでに動かなくなってアパートの駐輪場にほったらかしてたら、いつの間にかなくなってた原チャリの廃車手続きも済ませる。すっきりした。
市役所から帰って、さっそく今日の戦利品を持ってディーラーへ。納車が7月初旬になると聞かされへこむ。えぇ〜、まだ丸1ヶ月も先やん。マニュアル車は受注も少なく生産も少ないらしい。ディーラーでもまだワシ一人やって。ま、しゃあないね。
今日は夜RDのリハ。それまでちょっと寝よかしらん。
携帯で7時に起こされる。リーダー杉Ｐさん。「もうみんな集まってるからぼちぼち始めようと思って。」「え？？？」スタジオは8時からやったけど、ワシが午後半取ってる間にメールでスタジオ待ち時間にに明日と日曜日のメニューのうち合わせしようと言うことになってたらしい。みんなやる気まんまん。寝起でボーっとしたまんま徒歩でスタジオへ。寝起きって声が出ないと思ってたけど、意外に喉がリセットされててちょっとした発声練習の後はすんなり歌えた。明日が楽しみ。お時間があればぜひ遊びにいらしてくださいませ。
Tennis. The actual lesson started a little later than usual today. One of the coaches took a day off and my coach was giving a substitute lesson to another class when we arrived. So we started warming up on our own. The lesson started at 7:00pm. Much to my surprise, I was in good shape today. You never know those things. Shots were pretty sharp but my body was pretty relaxed and with no extra tension. It's just like playing a musical instrument. To produce a good tone out of an instrument, your muscles have to be very relaxed with no unnecessary tension in your muscle.
After the lesson, coach asked me to translate a few more official documents, this time English to Japanese. The document will be submitted to a public organization. To be honest I'd really rather not be doing this. He thinks it's a piece of cake for me. But, I am not professional at this. I think they should even hire an attorney to take care of this type of documents. But, most of all it's the public organization who really should be accepting the documents without translation. I came home to work on some of those.
An ordinary Tuesday. Not much happened. Came home, quite a few emails to reply regarding the gigs on this coming weekend. Other than that, I just fixed supper, sit around and watch TV.
火曜日はあまり何もないなぁ。暑い季節になるとだんだん自炊の回数が減るし、なんか楽な物ですませてしまう。理由は台所に出てくるアノ虫が大嫌いやから。ちょっと台所汚すとすぐ出てくるし。まめに掃除せーやって、、、そりゃそうです。っちゅうことで、昨日、ちょこちょこ買うてきたわりとできあがった物で夕食。温めるだけで食える中華ちまきやら、石松ぎょうざとかいう冷凍の餃子とか。珍しく7時半には晩飯食い終わる。あとはぐうたら。ウーロン茶の飲みながらドラマとかみてガラにもなくボロッと来てもた。オバハンか？ワシ。
It really breaks my heart to hear the news about the tragedy in an elementary school. Damn, what the hell is this world coming into? What's going on in children's environment today?
