Lake Placid and Upstate New York   Visting the Adirondacks, we enjoyed a few days in the mountains. The area has a European flavor and is very dog friendly. I was the only Airedale in the Olympic village, fondly, greeted by all.

Driving into town, I had to stretch my terrier legs and get a good look around. We settled in on Mirror Lake, right in the Olympic village. Wow! Ducks right outside- let's go! Dinner, perhaps? I'll just ease up nice and close. It's now or never- too bad I'm leashed. Darn, they flew away onto the lake! And, I was so close. I'm ready to dive in. We also stayed up here a couple of nights for a different view. I loved the air. Just chill'n on my balcony, bird watching. In the other direction, Mirror Lake with distant, snowcapped mountains. Me and my Mom enjoying the mild temps & sunny skies. Crated up & time to hit the road. Wonder where I'll visit next?
