Narration by Koshare

Woodstock, Vermont is where I spent my first day of this new year, surrounded in a fairyland of white. I arrived prepared to receive a lot of attention- oh boy, did I ever! It's impossible to overdose on too much of that, I just sucked it all up. The Kedron Valley Inn has had its share of celebrity guests, but I was the first Airedale. Need I say more? I even got to dine in the Tavern for being so well mannered. Imagine that.

My Chauffeur
Over the river and through the woods, I went on a sleigh ride! Snuggled up warm under a furry blanket between Mom & Dad, I wore my polartec coat, airescenting along the VT hillside. Exhilarating, it was! Another Vermont first I was told... but I was such a natural.
We began our excursion at dusk, experiencing the best of day and night vistas, while sandwiching in a pretty sunset. When the sun disappeared, we were glad to have the furry blanket! Brrrr. My Chauffeur was a delightful guide, he knew everything about Woodstock, including even where we were staying. I learned our room dated back to 1823. Back at the Inn, Mom was so grateful to have the modern pleasures of heat and hot water, as well as a glowing fireplace in our bedroom to help defrost.

The Moose is Loose!
Me and my Dad have this thing about posing with moose. Seems we find all sorts of opportunities, though I am told moose in the wild should be respected and appreciated from a safe distance. The moose below wasn't far from Stephen Huneck's gallery where we spent a good amount of time, enjoying his dog art. I kept asking, "what's so great about those Labradors? -where were all of his AIREDALE things?"
"Maybe for 2006", Mom whispered.
