Real Flow 3 Quick Start / Importing Mesh into Cinema 4D
*See notes below QT player*
While I'm sorry that this is a painfully compressed movie, the original was 65M. Some of the mouse movements aren't as obvious under the current compression / FPS management.
NEXT LIMIT TECHNOLOGIES (REALFLOW SITE)
- When I mention ACTION BUTTON - That's the rectangular button in the lower right hand side of the screen. I use "A" on the keyboard.
- At the beginning I mention that I've deleted some of the icons - those are the icons at the top of the workspace that act as shortcuts to file management, selecting different parts of the scene, Scene Tree, Export Central and other tools. To delete those, I simply right-clicked, then unchecked those boxes indicating 'on'.
- I note that the 'Reset' button is good and bad - it's really only bad because I occasionally hit it, deleting all of my calculated meshes/fluid paths. You should know that this button will eliminate the calculation data that you may have previously created.
- At the end of the animation the Sorenson codec crushes the hell out of the thin mesh lines - no that's not my crummy mac, just the crummy mac codec. It looks fine in RF3 while I spin the work camera as it calculates the simulation.
