Berk Bachelor Party and Lion Heart Jam Down



This weekend was Mike Berk's (second from Left) Bachelor Party. We started the festivities off in San Francisco with the Lion Heart Jam Down Memorial Fundraiser. This year, the group raised $1300 for Daniel Berk's endowment fund. To date, the fund has received almost $23,000 in contributions. Daniel was tragically taken much too soon in an avalanche during the winter of 04-05. His memory lives strong in those that were in attendance this weekend. This weekend was a celebration of life and new things to come for M, though, and the vibe was positive...his wedding is in a month, and we are all really excited and happy for them. We moved the party from SF to Lake Tahoe, where we wake boarded on Lake Tahoe. Though the board likes to slip and slide under the feet, we all managed to get up!
