Frequently asked questions and things just for your information.

1. Do you promote the site in any way?
I do not advertise this page and do not post it anywhere. If you have found it in a forum, found it on a search engine, or it has been emailed to you it is because someone else has chosen to do so. I originally created this page for myself and my close friends to share the experience with them. Over time, others have found it and have now shared it with you. I do not mind if people choose to post the link to this page. I do not actively seek to promote it in any way. I have it here merely as a record of events for people to learn from and to provide a resource for materials about the event that has been lacking in the past.

2. Is there a video of the fall?
There is no video of this happening. I REPEAT, there is no video!
WWE might have one although none of their cameras appeared focused to the area of the fall when it happened. Anyone that tells you they have seen a video is lying to you. There is no video on KazAa or anywhere else and not a single person has ever been able to provide with me with evidence to disprove me. If I ever saw it I would be the first to tell you it existed. No, it is highly unlikely someone had a digital camera that could record video and have used it.  For one thing, in 1999 those types of cameras were still extremely rare. Also, Owen fell in just a few short seconds. It would be nearly impossible to set your camera up fast enough to make a recording and get it focused on the correct area, especially with most people's attention directed toward the Titan Tron to watch the vignette being presented. So I say again, there is no video.

It is not shown on the PPV. I have this PPV on tape. I have the live broadcast of it. The PPV was shown once more as a repeat again that night. It was never shown again and no official release of the PPV on VHS or DVD was ever allowed out.

I know, I know... you found some video that is labeled as Owen Hart Fall or something similar. It is not a video of the fall. You are looking at one of two things most likely. The first is a video of Sid Vicious landing in the ring and breaking his leg.
The second one, the one that seems to confuse most people is a video of an XPW match between New Jack and Vic Grimes. They are standing on a scaffold about 20 feet high and New Jack tosses Grimes onto some tables in the ring. Grimes skids across them and bounces on the ropes. Grimes was not seriously injured in this stunt.

3. I heard Vince wanted to kill Owen, is that true?
It was not a plot by Vince McMahon to kill Owen. I know that sounds crazy, but I have actually heard this theory put out there. It was an equipment problem. The release mechanism that allows you to get out of the harness had a light trigger on it. Some say it had a lighter touch than the trigger on a handgun. This trigger was set off somehow and that is why Owen fell.

4. In one picture there is a white circle. Is that you highlighting where owen is falling?
In none of the pictures will you see Owen falling. One person asked if a bright spot was my attempt to highlight him as he fell. It was merely a light refraction into my camera lens.
