  • Mosaics can now be up to 100x100 tiles.
  • Images can now be used multiple times as determined by a user setting. Tiles can be clicked on to show their unique neighborhood.
  • Images can now be pulled from QuickTime movies.
  • Improved thread management which allows mosaics to run faster.
Known issues:
  • Changing the tile settings when the neighborhood size is large is really slow. If you want to use a lot of tiles turn the neighborhood size to 1 before increasing the tile count and set it back afterwards.
  • The user interface becomes very slugish when using a QuickTime image source.
  • Saving, preferences and removal of image sources are disabled.
  • The Google and glyph image sources are not available.
  • The editor is not working.
  • The quality measurement in the status bar is always 0%.
  • The first click on a tile does not show its neighboring tiles. Clicking the same tile a second time shows the neighbors.

Bugs fixed:
  • The code that determines what glyphs in a font are valid is now consistent. Previously, certain glyphs were initially considered valid but then failed to load during export or re-opening a document, resulting in black/empty squares in the mosaic image.
  • The OK and Cancel buttons are now functional when adding a Google term in the prefences window.
  • A rare bug in parsing results from Google Images has been fixed.
  • If an image (from any kind of image source) can not be loaded during matching, a crash no longer occurs.
  • Changing the format of an exported image now properly sets the extension of the file name.
