This website is a basic guide to digital media resources to
help you get the most out of disseminating your information
to a wider public. The particular focus is on geospatial
technologies such as Google Earth and GPS, but additional
technologies and software are also covered or will be added
in the future.
This is a compilation from a presentation given in
November, 2006 to the Pew Charitable Trusts' grantees in
Marine Conservation. The purpose is to provide a simple
online resource to get you pointed in the right direction
and to the right tools for your work and research. This
mostly consists of links to various websites and some
general information about these technologies.
Links to websites are highlighted in blue in the text.
