Unsubscribing

Since RSS feeds work by having your computer poll other web sites, all your subscription information is on your computer and no other.  To unsubscribe from a feed, use the deletion method provided by your viewer (for example, an RSS-enabled web browser may allow this by deleting a subscription bookmark).

About RSS Feeds

Really Simple Syndication (RSS) feeds are special files that contain minimal information about something of interest you wish to track.  Though commonly used for news stories, RSS feeds are available for many other purposes - in the case of this project, they are used to track news items, releases, and web log entries.  You can use a special log viewing program to subscribe to RSS feeds, or you can use newer web browsers such as Safari RSS or OmniWeb 5.

SourceForge has also provided a lot of useful information on RSS feeds on its site.  (Many of the feeds below are hosted at SourceForge.)
