MacTelnet 4 allows Python programming using APIs called Quills.
The pydoc program can be used to read documentation on Python modules, including Quills, as long as all necessary library paths are set in the environment. In MacTelnet, any non-log-in shell will inherit a valid Quills environment, allowing commmands like pydoc Quills.Base to work immediately. One way to create a non-log-in shell is to use “New Shell Session” in MacTelnet’s Dock menu.
