My dad took this exact same picture some 30+ years ago, and he gave it to me for Christmas a few years ago. It was the best present I've ever received: his photograph, matted, with the phrase that has been our shared motto for years -- "Illegimati non carborundum" (don't let the bastards get you down) -- and on the matting he wrote: "Take it Easy -- Love, Dad."
