I've been tagged

Jaimi tagged me for the music-type survey. For some reason it has totally shocked me into realizing that someone reads my blog.

1. Total amount of music files on your computer?
iTunes tells me that i have 1748 songs which is more GB than I care to admit. Mainly because many of these "songs" are episodes of This American Life (the best radio show ever).

2. The CD you last bought is:
Pavement's Slanted & Enchanted: Luxe & Reduxe. I am stuck in the 90's. I love pavement, what can i do? I have recently bought some scattered songs from the itunes music store, but i haven't been getting many cd's lately.

3. What is the song you last listened to before reading this message?
Little Red Corvette - The very best of Prince.

4. Write down 5 songs you often listen to or that mean a lot to you.
Being a scientist, I will refer to iTunes again to tell me which songs i have listened to the most.

- Animal Midnight by Stephen Malkmus and the Jicks (former lead singer of pavement).

- Knock, Knock by GZA on the Legend of the Liquid sword album

-Nicotine & Gravy on Midnite Vultures by Beck

- Da mystery of Chessboxin' on Enter the Wu-Tang by the Wu Tang clan

- I Came as a Rat by Modest Mouse on a live show that I have. And may i note that it is only the old Modest Mouse for me. On their new album they just don't seem mad at anything anymore, so it is no good for me.

I am glad that this list alternates old-alt rock and rap because that is pretty representative of what I listen to all day.

5. Who are you going to pass this stick to? (3 persons) and why?
I will have to choose people that I think will actually participate, and will actually read about it here.

-Cheryl even though I suspect that most of her answers will be 'Terry.' (married people.....:) )
-Mayflower because she always seems up for something fun
-B even though I don't know if she is in to this sort of thing
