The news irritates me. 



I haven't read the news in about a week, and then when I do, everything irritates me.

for example:
"House and Senate negotiators on an energy bill agreed to begin daylight-saving time three weeks earlier, on the second Sunday in March, and extend it by one week to the first Sunday in November."

Now congress is allowed to manipulate time?! This is my favorite part of the story: 
"According to some senators, farmers complained that a two-month extension could adversely affect livestock..." 
what the hell? I really cannot see how livestock will care if humans are operating on daylight savings time. It's not like they'll have to adjust their watches. 
it also features a quote from Rep. Fred Upton (R-Michigan): "Kids across the nation will soon rejoice"
