Tonight is the night 



The opening ceremonies are tonight! Let the knitters cast on! I have done nothing to train for the knitting olympics. In fact, I haven't even finished the drop stitch cardigan that i vowed to finish before 'the games.' But others i know have been training... Here are sarah and debbie training at the Mel-O-Dee on Tuesday.



Debbie is planning on making tempting out of Cashmerino, so she is gauge swatching. Sarah will be my teammate in Pirate knitting, making the pirate mittens. She trained by making the pirate hat. i think she is ready.



To be honest, i think the mittens may not be enough of a challenge. i might go as far as saying i will knit both the hat and the mittens... but I won't commit to that just yet.
