We're still knitting! 


Though i haven't posted an update here in quite a while, we are still knitting every week at the Mel-O-Dee 

For a while there were claims that a reporter was going to stop by and do a story on us. He never shoed up, and talk of him has died down... which i like. everyone was coming to knitting circle wearing lipstick and such, and that has finally subsided. Plus, the stress of talking to him was too much for me. I wasn't looking forward to explaining that we don't really do any charity knitting and are just basically selfish knitters.

For me, the highlight of this week's knitting circle was watching Sarah B. knit one scarf from another
 

 
That's right... Instead of completely unravelling her old scarf that is too wide and short, she is slowly pulling it out as she knits it into a new skinnier scarf. And check out her holiday beer cozy in the foreground - it has metallic yarn in it that makes it look sparkly and festive.

And from last week, the pool table just like the old days... since the boys weren't there last week, we were able to spread out on the pool table to lay out our projects. Cheryl took full advantage and spread out her alpaca masterpiece (read more about it here).
