No knitting circle tonight for meSince I am a bit under the weather, i decided to
skip knitting circle tonight so I will be ready for an early start at work
tomorrow. But, to get my weekly Mel-O-Dee fix, i will revisit some long
forgotten knitting circle moments that I captured on my camera and never looked
at again.
Here are a few pics from before Christmas. It was an exciting evening. (From left to right) - Sarah B worked like a maniac on a beautiful green sweater on needles that look super-tiny to me; Bunny visited us from Oxford, England, wearing a lovely cardigan that she knit; our friend Jeff stopped by for a drink; Megan is working on her manos mistake rib scarf (and wearing a sweater that she did not knit herself, thank you very much).
And though it is blurry, I love this photo. Debbie showed off her Jayne hat ( you know, from firefly) and Gen is in the background looking surprised and impressed
The hat really looks quite accurate.... Debbie says she got the pattern on craftster.org. These photos in no way represent everyone that was present, it is just that the mel-o-dee is perfect for capturing unflattering photos so i weeded some out... Attention knitting circle friends Stitches West is coming. I want to go. Let's take the Stitch 'N Ride*. And buy our tickets online. If you can't make it, dear readers, don't worry. this year I promise to photograph the most entertaining moments for you (no chickening out like last year ). *I actually can't find any info about a stitch 'n ride this year. we can just take the regular train.
