The cardi is progressing slowly now.I haven't made much progress on the right front
panel.
I did discover that i made an ugly error on the
back and left front pieces... I used a tubular cast on as described here, but i did not notice that it ends on a RS
row, and the pattern is to start on the WS row. So, on the first two pieces i
have the cast on portion on backwards. i am not about to rip them entirely out,
so i will just have to live with it. it doesn't really look that bad. Here is
a picture of the correctly done piece. i like the look, and it is very
stretchy.
I have a special project in mind, and got some yarn from Over the Rainbow Yarns on ebay. I got a pink and black laceweight wool, and a multicolor mohair acrylic blend.
But now i am done buying yarn for quite a while. I need to save to keep buying fiber to practice spinning! Posted: Thu - January 6, 2005 at 12:47 PM | |
