Cheryl's Birthday knitting celebrationIt's Cheryl's birthday, so we decided to do some
celebrating at our knitting circle.
It was no ordinary knitting circle last night, we
were surrounded by yummy dessert goodness to celebrate cheryl's birthday.
Despite the festivities, we managed to get some knitting done. Ingrid worked on
baby booties that are almost finished, and at the end of the night resigned
herself to thinking they will probably be too small. I hear ya
ingrid.
Here is Kate H proudly displaying her diagonal scarf. Her first-real-project-ever.
We had newcomer, debbie who is starting a scarf
(that i think is going to be a gift, so i will omit the details to keep it top
secret)
And i finally got a picture of b who spent
the evening tackling double pointed needles. i think she is the
winner.
Then the celebrating... we brought cookies (which
martin the bartender enjoyed) and sarah made a special trip to get some
delicious italian desserts
All that celebrating and it really seemed like something was missing... oh yeah! CHERYL! silly girl took a nap after work, and slept through her own surprise party. Posted: Wed - September 1, 2004 at 12:31 PM | |
