It's here!Cheryl sent me a box of goodies from Alaska and
it is finally here!
The suspense has been killing me. Cheryl
mentioned something about picking up an alpaca-type house-warming present for me
at a festival on slat spring island. When i first saw the box, i was shocked
that Cheryl would ship a miniature baby alpaca in a box with no air holes.
After opening it, I realized my guess was a little off.. but a giant bag of
alpaca fiber is still awesome! Part of the loot also includes a bunch of fiber
from Cheryl's once-in-a-lifetime fiber opportunity. she found a shetland sheep
farm that was having a going out of business sale. my take? some roving and an
awesome looking moorit fleece. it is so chocolaty-brown i dare say it is
beautiful.
Thanks Cheryl!! my favorite part of the shipment? the box. it has contained all types of sheep in its past.
