Knit-outHey east bay knitters, there is a knit-out on
Sunday!
Gen found a post at Yarn-a-go-go mentioning a knit out this sunday.
It will be at Temescal Cafe next to article pract from 1-4. And if it doesn't
sound fun enough already, there is word of a 15% yarn discount at article pract
for participants. Whaaaaa? a discount at a yarn store? i can't really seem to
process that.
While we are talking about shopping, i feel that i should point out to you what seems like a ridiculously good deal that i stumbled upon. I have a levi's corduroy purse (made by Yak-Pak ) that is a couple of years old. it is really starting to show some wear, and it smells funny. i guess because it is very dirty. anyway, i decided i would spring for a new purse, but that i wanted one much like the one i already have. this led me to the yak-pak page where i found a good replacement. but more importantly i found a wonderful deal. they currently have a web only sale of sample bags. They are 3 for $10 and shipping is only $5.50. It is a gamble that i am totally up for. Their bags usually retail around $30. keep in mind i have no idea what i am getting (i guess they could send me 3 wallet-sized bags) but i am optimistic. Posted: Thu - October 7, 2004 at 10:06 AM | |
