Larry’s
employer, the Clovernook
Center for the Blind and Visually Impaired wanted
him to create a multimedia show to be presented during their
annual business luncheon in May 2006. The 11-minute presentation
reflects
the activities and achievements during the 2005-2006
fiscal year. The introduction reflects the 103-year history
of the Clovernook Center for the Blind. Their Product Production
Department, Program (Rehab) Services, Community Relations,
the youth Discovery Camp (for blind and visually impaired students),
and a showcase (Home Grown) of art created by their blind consumers
were highlighted during the presentation.

After
hearing this popular song by Casting
Crowns several times on K-love, Larry felt
very moved to compose a multimedia special that was performed
LIVE
during
the Sunday
morning worship in June 2006. "My mind quickly filled
with images when I heard that song," stated Larry.
Jerold Warmack sang the lyrics while Larry provided the lighting
efforts (programmed by Phil Newman) and the imagery/soundtrack
during the performance.
Larry controls the lighting with a PC running HORIZON lighting
control software and an Apple G4 17” Powerbook for implementing
multimedia specials through a unique slideshow software program
called FotoMagico. The
Powerbook and PC are connected through two multimedia projectors.
The sound was controlled from a mixing
board by his brother-in-law, Sam Collier. This was the first time
that Larry accompanied a vocalist with synchronized lighting
and multimedia tracks live. |
After seeing several multimedia
specials at the First Baptist Church Mt. Healthy, Herb and
JoAnne Davidson
approached Larry to offer their appreciation. They sincerely
wanted Larry produce a multimedia show for their 50th wedding
anniversary and present it during an afternoon riverboat cruse
on the “Belle of Cincinnati.”
“I have given multimedia presentations in churches, hotels, and
clubhouses. I’m happy to address that this presentation
truly stayed afloat,” exclaimed Larry.
Approximately 50
guests watched the presentation while traveling down the Ohio
River.

After
becoming very moved with the images of the reconstruction of the

When
Margie recently lost her husband, she decided not to
have a visitation. Instead, she had a party called
"The Celebration of Life."
To make it special, Margie
asked Larry to create a show with photos of her family.
The song, "Voices That Care" by David Foster was the
perfect fit for the presentation.

a Saturday afternoon in July 2005, Larry mounted
a Sony Mini DV Camcorder on the sunroof of his Ford

and his wife celebrates their 20th wedding anniversary
by going to a Sandal's resort in Nassau. Surprisingly,
this presentation was made with Microsoft's PhotoStory

Fun,
food, music, and games filled the Mt. Healthy City Park on a
sunny afternoon in August 2002. Once
a year, the First
Baptist Church of Mt. Healthy would have a block party as
part of their outreach to the community. Larry brought his digital camera and
camcorder to capture the highlights. Larry combined still images
and movie loops to give it that "music video" flavor.

This
was one of many heartfelt presentations that Mr. Klug builds
a story of images around a meaningful piece of music. Molly's
40th birthday accured two months after the passing of her
mother,
Ginny Collier.
There wasn't a dry eye in Fellowship Hall
at the First Baptist Church of Mt. Healthy when Mr. Klug
presented this presentation at her surprise birthday
party.
