Haven't given the boot the boot...
Still have to wear the walking cast for a
while longer. The podiatrist looked at my foot and determined that the tendon is
not quite healed enough yet. He suggested that I try walking on my own very
gradually over the course of the next two weeks. I guess I'm ok with that....my
foot feels fine when I put it on the floor, but still gives me sharp pain all
around the bottom of the heel when I put my full weight on it to take a step. He
did ok me to drive short distances, but no stair climbing for at least two more
weeks (I normally take three flights of stairs at work). I can return to
aquacise in January...it will help strengthen the
ankle.
