Mr. Bean's Holiday

What a send-off for Rowan Atkinson's Mr. Bean character. Not only was this film hilarious, true to Mr. Bean form, but it was excellently film and very surprising.

Both François and i enjoyed the film, though probably at different levels. About 20 minutes into the movie, I started to realize how well it was filmed, a clever mix between traditional filming and handi-cam (Mr. Bean's own camera, of course -- after all, he's on vacation). There were some scenes reminiscent of Charlie Chaplin's artistry. One of the cleverest scenes when it was revealed how his bike was smashed: you're just sitting there thinking, "WTF?", but then 10 minutes later, it all makes sense.

Definitely worth seeing, for some good laughs, and to say good bye to the Mr. Bean character. Ciao!
