Dynamo vs. Pachuca


Talk about a bloody match! Red cards were flying everywhere. Though no real blood was drawn, at the end of the day 4 red cards appeared, sending 4 players, 2 on each side, to the benches.

Dynamo, though, played short-handed earlier, and withdrew to a very defensive posture, only getting lucky to get a second, tying, goal late in the game. Very obviously nerves were raw, as there was a lot of rough slide tackles and pushes. It was a rough game to watch, but a fun game to be there - at 21,000, it was a loud and excited crowd watching the game, and everyone had fun. A Pachuca fan came to me after the game, shaking my hands and saying "great game", just as if I was playing myself.

Well, it wasn't exactly a great game, at least for Dynamo. They really seemed withdrawn. But, as I rarely watch any sports, it was fun to be there, for my rare entry into fan-dom.
