Life is Elsewhere

While in Atlanta for a conference, I tripped across a Milan Kundara book I hadn't seen before: Life is Elsewhere. So, of course I had to pick it up for a read.

It was a fun, but also frustrating, read. It's about a "poet" who could never grow up, and was trapped in his own conceptions and fears. It was frustrating to read how stupid he could be. So, it wasn't a frustrating read, really ... it was an excellent read, in that the author could capture me so much into the story that I was frustrated while reading it!

Recommended reading.
