Word Search Creator X version 2.5.0 has been released

What's new in version 2.5.0:

Added the ability to display the puzzles in lower case letters.

Added Title and Header defaults for printing your puzzles.

Added default settings for the printed puzzle text color and the printed word list color.

Added Title, Header and Puzzle Appearance settings specific to a puzzle. This way you can change a puzzle's specific Title, Header and Appearance (for printing) without having to adjust the defaults before you create the puzzle.

You can use any font for the puzzle now. You might find that some fonts have slight alignment problems when you are circling the word. This is a known issue and it is something we are looking into.

You can now use any color for the circle color.

Made several cosmetic changes.

Difficulty settings will also be disabled after 15 launches. This is in addition to printing and puzzle shapes that were disabled in version 2.0.0.

Word Search Creator X version 2.0.1 has been released

What's new in version 2.0.1:

• Added the ability to copy the puzzle as a picture so you can paste the puzzle in another application.
• Added a check to prevent a user from trying to create a puzzle that would not be possible.
• You can now select multiple items in the word list so that you can remove several items quickly.
• Added command-A as a keyboard shortcut for 'Reveal All Words'.
• Fixed a problem that allowed a user to try and create a puzzle when there are no words in the word list.
• Added a 'Cancel' button to the main print selection sheet.

Word Search Creator X version 2.0.0 has been released

What's new in this version:

First release that allows you to create your own custom shapes for your puzzles. Their are several shapes pre-made to help get you started.

Fixed a major bug that would cause the program to crash on startup if OS X Help Directories had not already been setup.

Limited the functionality after 15 launches. You will lose the ability to print and use puzzle shapes (printing and puzzle shape are reactivated after registering).

Word Search Creator X version 1.6.0 has been released

What's new in this version:

Internal changes to the routines that place the words in the puzzles. The results are seen with the complexity of how words overlap each other.

Moved the puzzle size and font settings out of the settings sheet and placed them directly on the main window. It makes it much easier to adjust the size and the font/size of the puzzle plus it makes way for the addition of puzzle shapes (coming in version 2.0.0).
