 LATISHA MAE

UPDATE:

Latisha Mae, (a joke for Latisha Mae bite yo' ass, since the neighbor that gave her to me said she bit, but never showed any signed of aggression with us), was adopted by a very nice couple with one other rescue dog. She continues to do very well, and seems to have made a full recovery.

GET READY.... JUMP!

Latisha Mae is young, probably only 4-5 months old now, since she still has her baby teeth! She is small, weighing only 14 pounds, and will not get much bigger. She is basically a mini Beagle. She is an extremely affectionate and playful little pup, who has just been saved from a very abusive home.

After being bought in a trailor park, her old family took her home and played with her a few months, without any shots or care. By the time she came to us, she was filthy, covered in fleas and very sick. Her owner gave her to me on the street, claiming to be about to "let her go" since she had been hit by a car and "was broken now." When I examined her, and the vet agreed, it looks more like she was kicked too hard and that is what caused her lung infection.

Latisha has been fully treated for worms and her cough, and has almost finished her puppy shot boosters.
