HENNESSY

UPDATE:

A wonderful family from Homestead adopted Hennessy, and is completely in love with her. She has fully adapted to her new life with her new doggie sister. I am looking forward to receiving new pics of her very soon!! She has been renamed MIA, and is proving to have a huge appetite!

Hennessey looks like a full bred Russian Long Haired Terrier, but there is no way to know for sure since she was rescued from a crazy family in the ghetto in Miami. She was apparently cared for until they got tired of her and decided to throw her away. Luckily my roommate was passing by just as they were tossing this lovely little thing onto the street. She is very small, about 12 pounds I think, if that! Her coat is beautiful, she doesn't shed, and she is the perfect lap dog. She has been neglected, so she loves lots of attention. She is a little shy around other dogs, but warms up pretty quickly. We are guessing she is about 1 year old now.
