BUCK

Buck is a medium sized dog, with fur so soft he feels like rabbit! He is very gentle and sweet and loves to be loved.

Buck's story is pretty unbelievable. He has already undergone surgery and is waiting to heal so that we can have him treated for heartworms.

He is a victim of extreme abuse. His previous owner slashed his ears into pieces, there are literally just slivers left. When he was found, he was extremely skinny, and had been hit so hard a testicle had gotten lodged up into his body cavity!! He has had the surgery to remove it, and he is recovering nicely in his new foster home... MINE! I got him because the kennel where he was staying just got evicted!!! His luck is about to change, though, because he has found a great little home where he can recover.

I CANNOT STESS ENOUGH, THIS DOG NEEDS A KIND AND LOVING HOME AND PROBABLY DESERVES IT MORE THAN ANYBODY! He is a joy to have around the house, I haven't heard him bark or groul at anything. He like to lay around near you, and follow you from room to room so he has company. He is still shy, he lowers his head or hides behind my knees when he meets new people. He is great with all of my other dogs, and doesn't seem to have any problems with living indoors.
