 ANDY

I got Andy in a more unusual way than most. I had taken Ethos to get his first round of puppy shots, and more mange medicine, and while I was waiting in the lobby a woman came in holding a tiny puppy by the back of the neck. She yelled "Don't nobody want this dog? I don't want him. He's a shepard mix I think, but I ain't keeping him." When no one responded to her, since it was kind of an unusual move, she said, "Fine, I'm just gonna let him go." She dropped the dog on the floor and walked out. While those of us sitting in the lobby were looking at the puppy trying to figure out what to do, she came back in and yelled again, this time angry, then snatched up the puppy to go dump it in the street.

I couldn't get the him away from her fast enough!! He was just a ball of fur. When I got back to the gallery, a couple of the artists who had already been saying I was crazy for trying to help Ethos, just laughed when they saw me roll up with twice as many puppies as I had left with.

Andy was so young he would cry, and SQUEEEEEL if I left him alone, so I swaddled him with a piece of cloth and kept him tied to my chest.

One of the artists who had laughed at me actually adopted him, and these are the pics of him now, almost full grown and happy.
