Finally!
I've been waiting ever since the iTunes Music
store went live for Herb Alpert's Tijuana Brass to make it on there. It finally
happened this week, with several of the TJB albums being offered for sale.
I was something of a trumpet player in
my youth, and Al Hirt and Herb Alpert were a couple of my heros. TJB in
particular was a favorite band; the laid-back style of their music was very
appealing to me. I'm listening to the "Whipped Cream and Other Delights" album
as I write this, and I find I still like it.
It's cool to have all those old
favorites available digitally for $0.99 a song.
